With the improvement of the performance of permanent magnet materials, the improvement of processing technology, and the development of modern control technology, efficient permanent magnet synchronous motors have shown strong vitality in various fields. Compared with ordinary asynchronous motors, high-efficiency permanent magnet synchronous motors have obvious advantages, mainly including the following aspects:

(2) Small size, high power density;
(3) The motor structure is simple and flexible, with high reliability;
(4) High starting torque, low noise, and low temperature rise;
(5) Has a high speed range and good speed control performance;
Although the production cost of high-efficiency permanent magnet synchronous motors has increased, experimental verification has shown that their energy-saving rate can quickly make up for the cost difference. Considering the overall economic benefits, they have a significant advantage over asynchronous motors.
Supporting blow molding equipment, the original supporting motor was Y160L-4-15KW ordinary three-phase asynchronous variable frequency motor. The energy-saving transformation method is to replace the original ordinary three-phase asynchronous motor with a permanent magnet variable frequency synchronous motor. A permanent magnet dedicated frequency converter is used for on-site control, and the equipment is connected to an electricity meter. The blow molding equipment uses high-voltage materials and produces large food plastic bags.
The original Y series Y160L-4-15KW asynchronous motor consumes 2.7 kWh of electricity per hour of operation;
Permanent magnet synchronous variable frequency motor TYP160L-15KW operates for 1 hour with a power consumption of 2.2 kWh;
Power saving rate: (2.7-2.2) ÷ 2.7 × 100%=18.5%,
Considering the impact of experimental environment conditions (speed fluctuations), the comprehensive actual power saving rate is around 15%.
